I know when I got into motorsport I had no guidance, no knowledge other than what I could glean from forums. My parents had long been out of motorsport and had no money to put me through karting or anything else. I just knew that I wanted to race cars.

Everything I know now (I know a lot less than I should) came from making a lot of mistakes. Things I look back at and just think that was ridiculous. Having a resource and guidance from professionals would have been invaluable.

This isn't just applicable for those wanting a career in automotive or motorsport specifically but for those wanting to learn about how to modify their car. If their mechanic is being genuine. if they want to do their own basic servicing. Even if you just want entertainment this is the place to be.
